Central Otago wine country spreads from the outskirts of Queenstown’s Wakatipu Basin through picturesque valleys and dramatic gorges to the rolling vine-clad foothills of Bannockburn and beyond. Our tours take you from Queenstown to the Gibbston Valley and through to the Bannockburn and Cromwell region, the heart of the Central Otago wine country.
As we travel with small groups, the selection of vineyards available to us grows by the year and we will choose those appropriate for the tour each day. All our tours make the most of our twelve years of experience operating in Central Otago, and our close working relationship with the vineyards and wineries. We also offer a range of private wine tours for individuals and groups.
Daily Wine Tours departing from Queenstown
Join one of our small group, daily tours with a maximum of 11 people, for a great day out exploring Central Otago wine country.
Boutique Wine Tour • 12noon-5pm • Daily
An afternoon among the boutique vineyards and spectacular scenery of Central Otago, a perfect introduction to the region.

- Tasting at 4 wineries in the Gibbston Valley, Cromwell and Bannockburn regions

- Visit to historic Old Cromwell Town (time and weather permitting)

Gourmet Wine Tour • 9.30am-4.30pm • Daily
A relaxed day of fine cuisine, good company, sampling local cheeses and tasting premium cool-climate wines.

- Take a tour through New Zealand's largest underground wine cave
- A tasting of local cheeses at one of the vineyards
